A laid person must personally register as a job-seeker at
the employment and economic development office if not on a group lay-off. The
person cannot register retroactively but must register on the first lay-off day
at the latest. When registering at the employment and economic development
office, the person must show a lay-off notice that indicates among other things
the date on which the lay-off starts.
The Insurance Supervisory Authority confirmed that EUR 99 is the YTK
membership fee for 2010. The billing of the fees commence in January 2010. The
bills be delivered to members by month of birth, which means that those living
in the same household may not necessarily receive their bills at the same time.
By the end of February, all of the membership fee bills for 2010 will have been
sent.
