Membership fee for 2010 is EUR 99
The Insurance Supervisory Authority confirmed that EUR 99
is the YTK membership fee for 2010. The billing of the fees will commence in
January 2010. The bills will be delivered to members by month of birth, which
means that those living in the same household may not necessarily receive their
bills at the same time. By the end of February, all of the membership fee bills
for 2010 will have been sent.
Members will receive the bills via regular mail. However, they
can also request electronic bills by registering with the free-of-charge
Netposti service maintained by Posti, at www.posti.fi/netposti, and selecting YTK
as the service provider.
Unemployment benefits to increase
From 1 January 2010, the basic daily unemployment allowance,
the basic part of income-linked daily allowance, and the labour market subsidy
will be EUR 25.63 per day. A child increment is paid for children under 18, and
from the beginning of the year, the daily increment for one child will total EUR
4.86, EUR 7.13 for two, and EUR 9.19 in total for more than two
children.
